This sightseeing flight of stunning New Zealand scenery is part of your adventure. Weaving rivers and dense native bush provide amazing vistas as we fly to the legendary Waitomo Caves. Once there, Spellbound takes you on a journey to one of New Zealand's most magnificent glowworm displays.
You'll see glowworms up close and learn exactly why they glow, then float quietly in a raft, on an underground river - gliding gently beneath galaxies of glowworms.
The sight of thousands of softly glowing blue lights, suspended in mysterious inky blackness, deep in a cave interior is never forgotten. We guarantee you will be totally spellbound.
To make your Spellbound tour complete, we create absolute contrast by taking you to the nearby Te Ana o te Atua, (Cave of the Spirit) where clever lighting and gently sweeping paths are used to reveal fascinating stories of a cave whose river has deserted it. Dry and cool, Te Ana o te Atua holds evidence of the passing of geological events, extinct animal life and evidence of past human explorations.
Sit back and relax after your 3 hour private tour, still marvelling at the wonderful experience you have had, as your Aerius pilot takes you back to your accommodation.
